Job Description

We are looking for a middle+ engineer to work with us building modern E-commerce apps with React Native. Our team is fully distributed, we utilise capabilities of GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Slack and other tools to organise efficient asynchronous communication and development processes. 

We do code reviews, discuss architecture solutions and make sure our codebase, tech stack and decision making are in a good shape. 

 

Skills

  • At least 3 years of software development experience with focus on front end tech and React Native

  • Ability to write well-formatted, structured and clean code that interacts with backend technologies

  • The ability to communicate well with the team, maintaining positive and proactive attitude 

  • Expert-level familiarity with JavaScript and React/React Native ecosystem

  • Strong understanding of modern React Native infrastructure

 

Good to Have

  • Experience building native apps for Android using Java/Kotlin

  • Experience building native apps for iOS using Obj-C/Swift

  • Prior experience in e-commerce

Responsibilities

  • Design and build a React Native applications from scratch

  • Writing high-quality, well documented, test-driven code and readable code

  • To own the success of your projects both in terms of delivering on the right objectives and doing so on time

  • To cooperate effectively with the customer’s dev team both through project leads and directly

  • Participate in analyzing business and technical specifications/requirements

  • Participate in daily project team meetings

  • Provide updates to effort estimates and status of assigned tasks
